Description for route of synthesis:
Under inert gas protection, using tetrahydrofuran as the solvent, 2-bromo-1,3-diisopropylbenzene is cooled to low temperature, and n-butyl lithium is slowly added for lithium halide exchange reaction to generate aryl lithium intermediate; Then add trimethyl borate and control the temperature for nucleophilic addition reaction; After the reaction is completed, it is quenched and acidified with dilute hydrochloric acid, and purified by extraction, washing, drying, and recrystallization to obtain the target product 2,6-diisopropylphenylboronic acid.
