Description for route of synthesis:
Under inert gas protection, using tetrahydrofuran and diethylene glycol dimethyl ether as mixed solvents, pyridine-3,5-diformyl chloride is cooled to low temperature, and lithium tris tert butoxide aluminum hydride is slowly added to selectively reduce the acyl chloride; After the reaction is completed, it is quenched, extracted, washed, dried, and then purified by vacuum distillation or column chromatography to obtain the target product 3,5-dialdehyde pyridine.
