Description for route of synthesis:
Under inert gas protection, using tetrahydrofuran as the solvent, 2- (2-bromoethyl) -1,3-dioxane is first reacted with magnesium powder to prepare Grignard reagent; Subsequently, N-methoxy-N-methylacetamide was added to the system and the temperature was controlled for nucleophilic addition reaction; After the reaction is completed, it is quenched, extracted, washed, dried, and then purified by vacuum distillation to obtain the target product 4- (1,3-dioxolan-2-yl) -2-butanone.
