Description for route of synthesis:
Under inert gas protection, using tetrahydrofuran as the solvent, 8-benzyloxy-5- (2-bromoacetyl) -2-hydroxyquinoline is mixed with (R) -2-methyl-CBS oxazolborane. After cooling to low temperature, borane dimethyl sulfide complex is slowly added for asymmetric carbonyl reduction reaction; After the reaction is complete, the target chiral product is obtained by quenching, extraction, washing, drying, and purification through column chromatography or recrystallization.
