Description of route of synthesis:
Place the allyl substituted ortho methyl benzene raw material in the reaction system, heat it to undergo Claisen rearrangement reaction, and the allyl group migrates from the oxygen atom to the ortho position of the benzene ring, while the ether bond is converted to a phenolic hydroxyl group; After the reaction is completed, the product of methylphenol with allyl side chains is obtained by cooling, solvent extraction, concentration and purification.
