Description of route of synthesis:
Add 1,6-dicyanoguanidine hexane and 2-ethylhexanamine hydrochloride into a reaction vessel, heat up and keep warm to carry out nucleophilic addition reaction of amino group to cyanide group, and sequentially add primary amine to cyanide groups at both ends, converting into a disubstituted guanidine structure; After the reaction is completed, it is cooled down and subjected to concentration, desalination, and refining treatment to obtain the finished product of metformin hydrochloride.
